These alternatives to tree wood are sustainable, renewable, compostable, recyclable, and upcycled. At Nature Pak, we carefully select materials that genuinely minimise environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle.
Our Nature Pak Solutions
Nature-friendly packaging that doesn't compromise on performance.
Bamboo
One of the world's fastest-growing plants — bamboo-based packaging is strong, renewable, and naturally compostable.
Sugarcane
Bagasse (sugarcane pulp) is a byproduct of sugar production — turning waste into durable, compostable food packaging.
Plant Fibre
Agricultural plant fibres offer a renewable, biodegradable alternative to traditional plastics and virgin paper.
Conventional Plastic
Where plastic is necessary, we select responsibly — choosing recyclable plastics (PET, PP) that can re-enter the circular economy.
Why We Reject PLA Plastics
We reject the use of PLA (polylactic acid) plastics because they are made from corn that can otherwise be used as a food source. PLA also takes hundreds of years longer to break down than traditional petroleum plastics — 600 to 1000 years — making it a poor choice for genuine sustainability.
Instead, we focus on materials that are truly compostable and that re-enter the natural cycle quickly, without diverting food crops or misleading consumers about environmental benefits.
